In a ground-breaking initiative, our HERO project https://health-online-hero.com/en/ has achieved significant milestones in transforming patient care and empowering communities amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Later in the post COVID-19 time we continued in further informing and educating the general public, our patients and caregivers about immunology vaccines and the huge achievement of modern medicine in saving human life.

Remote Patient Care
The project has successfully developed a remote healthcare system that connects patients with medical experts through seamless video consultations. With this pioneering approach, doctors were able to conduct post-treatment check-ups, ensuring patients’ well-being in the comfort of their homes. This breakthrough marks a significant leap towards accessible and convenient healthcare services.
Empowering Information in the Fight Against COVID-19
Additionally, our project has been at the forefront of disseminating crucial information regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Through continuous updates and educational materials, we’ve delivered insights on the latest developments, including new medications and their efficacy against the virus. Engaging videos have been utilized to illustrate the virus’s structure and its impact on the human body.
This initiative represents a vital step in leveraging technology to enhance healthcare accessibility and knowledge-sharing, contributing significantly to public health awareness during these challenging times.
The project has been presented on the web pages of the Merkur clinical hospital, Zagreb, Croatian League against cancer, Zagreb info page, several invited lectures of the principal investigator in Prag, MESIA (2022) and in Sofia EATRIS meeting (2024)
