Since SARS-CoV-2 was first identified in China, thousands of mutations have been recorded

The most mutations have a little apparent impact on the viral infectivity but some of them evolve in lineages that have an advantage in transmission or carriage, and are the lead cause of a rapid rise in COVID-19 cases worldwide.

*Side effects of vaccination

Some associated allergic symptoms have been reported for Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines.

The COVID-19 vaccines can cause mild adverse effects after the first or the second dose.
